West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto appeals his ranks to be ready in anticipating weather anomalies due to high rainfall in dry season.
This achievement must be maintained
He said that high rainfall is predicted to continue until October as an impact of global climate change and mitigation must be carried out.
"Sub-agencies of Water Resources, Bina Marga, Park and City Forest, Health and up to Social must respond quickly during and after flood disaster," he said, Monday (7/14).

"This achievement must be maintained," he added.
Related to the strategic programs in 2025, Uus continued that big projects will start in West Jakarta including flyover in Latumenten and Makaliwe, as well as river normalization and SPLAD construction.
"The projects must be socialized well to reisdents to avoid resistence," he continued.
Uus also appeals civil servants of West Jakarta Administration to provide best services for residents.
According to him, civil servants must also be proactive and responsive to any complaints or problems that arise in the community.
